  • Welcome.

Hi All... I would like to welcome you to what we hope will be a useful place for any M.E./CFS sufferer or their carer to talk, share, offer advice or even have a moan... Although the M.E. Recovery Group charity is based in the Scottish Borders, anyone with an interest in M.E./CFS is welcome to use this facility... All that we ask is that you treat everyone with respect and that you above all gain something from this new service. Most of the forums on this site are only visable after free registration.

I look forward to "meeting" you...
    Kind regards... Carole.xxx

    Please Note:
When using forums/discussion boards, etc. we sometimes forget that our words when typed can be misinterpreted. Because of that, we may read something into another person's words that was not intended. Online experiences lack the added advantages of vocal inflections and facial expressions, so they don't have the same clarity as speaking to someone face to face or on the telephone. Please try to be as polite, respectful and kind as possible & remember to take into account other people's feelings and fears whilst keying;  that's the way to avoid unfortunate understandings. This may be a 'virtual' environment made up of pixels on a faceless screen, but everyone on here is still a real person, with real emotions, feelings and worries, so use as much care and diplomacy as you would when speaking to any real-life friend. If you find a post to be offending, breaking the rules, or is deemed inappropriate for the forums please contact us and we will remove the post for further investigation.
